The GSE powers the Pearson Connected English Learning Program, a three-part programme that makes sure learners are on the optimal path to fluency. The Pearson Connected English Learning Program delivers Courseware, Assessment and Certification for learners and educators. Our courseware is relevant, motivating and engaging, and includes popular titles developed in partnership with the BBC, such as Speakout and Wider World. It also delivers assessments such as the Level and Benchmark tests, allowing schools to easily place student sin the right courses, and to measure their progress effectively.

We also support learners in certifying their English skills, through PTE Academic, a high stakes test for work, study and migration recognised by universities and governments around the world and taken by over 1.2 million test takers in 2023.

We provide fun, easy and effective self-study language courses through the Mondly by Pearson app where learners can choose from over 40 languages using ground-breaking and market-leading technology.
