Avenue English is proud of their A1 student from Brazil

Avenue English is proud of their A1 student, Dagmar from Brazil, who achieved an outstanding result in her final test!

Dagmar, a dedicated 50+ student, has shown remarkable courage and determination in her English language studies while in beautiful Cape Town. She embarked on this journey alone, saving for six months in 2024 to fulfill her dream of visiting Mandela’s country in March 2025. As a special memento, she even bought boxes of Mandela tea to share with her family back home.

During her time at Avenue English, Dagmar made friends effortlessly and fully embraced South African culture. She spent one week at our Johannesburg center and four weeks at our Cape Town center, immersing herself in the experience and sharing wonderful stories about her family and life. We celebrated Human Rights Day on 21 March in South Africa, which was particularly poignant for Dagmar.
