Effective April 4th, the popular SCIC General English Course will be available online via the “PTG Online” portal, catering for students at the following levels:

• Pre-Intermediate (10 weeks minimum)
• Intermediate (10 weeks minimum)

NOTE: Students who complete the Intermediate Level satisfy the English Language Requirement for admission to all PTG Courses.

The SCIC Online General English Course includes the following elements:

1. 2 hours live instruction per week
2. 20 class hours per week
3. Full, recorded lessons with "unlimited attendance" and playback functionality
4. Access to 24H SCIC Teacher chatroom support
5. Listening, Grammar, Reading, Writing and Vocabulary Tasks between Course Units
6. Progress Charts to monitor students' progress
7. Assessments and Progress Tests that can be submitted, marked and returned through PTG Online

General English Intermediate Class:                             

Students that are suitable for this course include:

• Offshore (overseas) students who are planning to come to Australia for English Language study (after border re-opening)
• Offshore students who are planning to come to Australia for Vocational Education study
• Offshore students who are planning to come to Australia for Higher Education study
• Offshore students who want to study English (online) only, for career advancement or personal interest
• Offshore students who want to study English (online) combined with a PTG Diploma (online) only
