Discovery Summer Radley - Summer Centre

Radley College has an outstanding campus, close to Oxford.

The facilities for study, sports and recreation are outstanding, including art studios, large IT suites and a new Science Lecture Theatre.

Sporting facilities include football, rugby and cricket pitches, athletics track, tennis courts, a Real Tennis court, squash and fives courts, indoor 25m 6-lane swimming/diving pool and sports hall

Dates: 2-4 weeks from 10 July – 7 August 2024
Age range: 11-14 years

Teaching programme
• 20 hours’ tuition per week including English Skills, English Workshops and end-of-week presentation.
• Optional exam: Trinity Graded Exam in Spoken English (at extra cost)

Activity Programme
• Afternoons: wide choice of activities including sports, fitness, arts & crafts, music and dance.
• Evenings: team challenges, British games, discos and relaxed nights in house
• Special events: Ceilidh (traditional dancing), archery, Nerf Blasters
• Excursions: 2 per week e.g. London, Oxford, Thorpe Park, Warwick Castle
• Special Sports Options - Tennis or Fencing (at extra cost).

Accommodation and supervision
• Staff/student ratio at least 1:4
• Accommodation in traditional boarding houses.
• 3 meals a day and healthy snacks provided
• ‘English Student Hosts’ of your age take part in the courses so you make friends with English speakers of your own age
• Free airport transfers from Heathrow
