Discovery Summer Collingham - Summer Centre
The non-residential Family Programme is held in one building in Kensington, central London, where parents and children can study in separate classes. Parents who are not studying accompany their children to and from the school. All students have 15 hours’ tuition per week with classes from Monday to Friday either in the mornings (09:00-12:30) or in the afternoons (13:30-17:00). Teens (13-17 years) have the option to take part in a full day programme 09:00-17:00h which includes English classes in the morning, afternoon activities and excursions.
Classes for juniors aged 5-17 are task-based – students learn by collaborating on creative weekly projects in small multi-national groups. Each week students, accompanied by their teacher, have a study visit to one of the Kensington museums (Science, Natural History, V&A) Design Museum, Kensington Palace. Adults aged 18+ (beginner to advanced level) enjoy lively fun classes in which all skills are covered with a focus on real world day-to-day topics.
