Founded in 1382, Winchester College is one of Britain’s leading independent schools.

In 2027 we are offering 3 courses at Winchester:
- Pre-University (15-17 year olds)
- English Plus (13-16 year olds)
- Global Young Leaders (13-16 year olds)
All programmes run for 2-4 weeks from 8 July – 5 Aug 2027 and include:
- Accommodation at the school with 3 meals per day
- Close supervision by our resident staff
- Choice of afternoon activities – sports, art & design, drama, supervised free time in Winchester (twice a week)
- Evening activities – exciting range of entertainments and special events
- 2 excursions per week e.g. London, Oxford, Thorpe Park, Windsor Castle, Hampton Court
- Wide mix of nationalities
- PLUS: ’English Student Hosts’ take part in the courses so you make friends with English teenagers
- Free airport transfers from/to Heathrow, Gatwick and Eurostar St Pancras
Pre-University (15-17 years)
- A challenging programme for advanced level students (upper intermediate to proficiency) to help prepare for future university and career choices.
- 22.5 hours’ tuition per week (19.5 hours in arrival week) including Majors, Minors, weekly Masterclasses and end-of-week presentation
- Select one Major and one Minor per week
- Majors: Artificial Intelligence, Business, Drama, Economics, Engineering, IELTS/Academic English, International Relations, Film Making, Psychology
- Minors: Business Studies, GenAI, Film Making, Debate, Digital Photography, STEM, IELTS Speaking & Listening, Cultural English, Philosophy, Politics/Model UN
- Elective Masterclasses: stimulating lectures in e.g. AI for Business Planning, Advanced Leadership Skills, Understanding LLMs, Guided College Walking Tour
- Optional Exam: IELTS (at extra cost)
English Plus (13-16 years)
- An exciting programme for teens who want to build confidence in English
- For students of elementary to advanced level
- 20 hours’ tuition per week (17 hours in arrival week) including English Skills, English Workshops and end-of-week presentations
- Cultural study visits with your teacher
- Optional exam: Trinity Graded Exam in Spoken English (at extra cost).
Global Young Leaders (13-16 years)
- A stimulating programme for future young leaders
- For students of an intermediate to advanced level
- 20 hours’ tuition per week (17 hours in arrival week) including English, STEM, Business Start Up and Communication Skills.
- Cultural study visits with your teacher
