Introducing Sapphire Education’s New Course: Medicine, Health and Innovation at New College, University of Oxford
Sapphire Education is delighted to announce the launch of Medicine, Health and Innovation – offering students early insight into one of the world’s most sought-after fields.
Based at the prestigious New College, University of Oxford, this new addition to Sapphire’s Pre-University Scholars Programme (ages 14–18) invites students to explore anatomy, genetics, and the evolving world of healthcare – uncovering how research, ethics, and innovation come together to improve lives.
Over the course of two weeks, students will earn a course completion certificate and gain the knowledge and skills to excel in a future career in medicine.
Course highlights include:
- Learn from leading mentors with 45+ hours of academic sessions, workshops and masterclasses
- Career Guidance sessions to build confidence, teamwork and future planning
- Experience life as a student at one of the world’s top universities
- Opportunities to explore Oxford and other iconic UK destinations during full-day weekend excursions

Through a blend of university-style learning, hands-on projects, expert mentorship, and immersive cultural experiences, aspiring healthcare leaders will be inspired to ignite their curiosity, develop practical skills, and shape their future.
This latest addition joins Sapphire’s six other cutting-edge courses: Psychology, Marketing and Leadership; Business, Entrepreneurship and Start-Ups; Engineering, Design and Sustainability; Computer Science, AI and Machine Learning; STEM Pioneers; and Business Pioneers, giving individual students aged 12-18 a wide range of opportunities to explore their interests.
