Celebrating the Holiday Season at ICC Hawaii

ICC Hawaii provides high-quality English and over 20 world language courses.  We help students meet their language goals, whether academic, social or professional.  The EC (English for Communication) program is the most popular due to that we use a communicative approach to learning.  Students are engaged in real-life communication and this includes on providing curriculum, activities and housing to ease their experience while studying in Hawaii.

We have just finished the Thanksgiving holiday with a pot luck dinner where students, faculty and staff brought food and fun to the table.  All were invited and many felt the holiday cheer.

The following holiday event will be a Honolulu City lights tour including our Hawaiian Shaka Santa (more are familiar with this gesture as “hang loose”) wearing board shorts, of course!  ICC students are coming together December 11th to watch all the beautiful lights and decorations together.  In 1985, Mayor Frank F. Fasi created this free event that included a lighted tree on the main lawn, decorated tree display in the courtyard, holiday concert and displays of light on the trees and buildings from downtown to the civic center. Since then, the Honolulu City Lights have become a major event for locals and visitors during holiday season.

At ICC Hawaii, we are truly an Ohana (Hawaiian for family) where we welcome students from around the world to learn, make new friends and experience studying English at the best school in Hawaii.
