The programme is ideal for students and young professionals who wish to improve their practical knowledge of certain business sectors and enables them to further improve their English in a working environment.

WHAT SECTORS ARE COVERED?

Most areas of business are covered, everything from Marketing to Architecture, Business to Tourism.

The most requested sectors are Marketing, Business Administration, Advertising, Fashion, Law,  Museums, Import/Export and Charities.

Other requests are also considered in any field. We aim to be able to satisfy any requests we have.

WHAT KIND OF COMPANIES CAN YOU WORK FOR?

Medium or small, local, national and international. Private sector, public sector and charitable status.

HOW DOES THE PROGRAMME WORK ?

When we receive a cv and application form we check whether the requested work area is a possiblity, ie that you have enough experience or language level to work in the kind of company you want. Some types of work involve a lot more communication than others  so of course a better level is needed.

If everything looks ok we will confirm that and then ask for you to call for a telephone interview. If your spoken English and comprehension is high enough...great! If not we will recommend a period of study before you apply again.

Next we send your cv out to various companies that we consider to be a good match for you. When we have an interested company we will let you know when to go for an interview to see if you suit each other.

If the match is suitable we will confirm this with you and the company and inform you when to start, how to dress, who to meet etc. If the match is not suitable we will arrange for another interview as soon as possible. Hopefully 2nd time lucky.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU START ?

We check with the company that you have arrived okay and settled in. We monitor your performance and are here if there are any problems or difficulties between you and the company.

When your placement is coming to any end we send a feedback form to you to ask your opinion of the whole experience and also send you a certificate to show what you have done. The company also completes a report on you  which can be useful for you when applying for work in the future.

ANY OTHER CERTIFICATES ?

Yes, besides the "Professionals UK" Certificate you can do the "Cambridge Certificate in Work Placement"
