The capital of British Columbia, Victoria is on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, just a few hours by ferry from Vancouver or Seattle. Victoria is consistently rated as one of the best places to live in Canada. Known for its friendliness, cleanliness and wonderful parks and gardens, attractions include Butchart Gardens, the Empress Hotel, Craigdarroch Castle, historic Chinatown & numerous beaches. It rarely snows here in winter, and we generally have very mild summers.

Victoria is a clean, safe, friendly city with many beautiful older neighbourhoods. We offer homestay placement with good families close to the college. Students are guests not boarders. Staying with a Canadian family even for a short time is a great way to learn English and the culture. We will also assist students in finding other housing if they do not want homestay.
