Mission to Istanbul

QE and many of the QE schools were be in Istanbul on 28th September. We invited many local agents to the one day event at the POINT Hotel in Istanbul.

QE first went to Istanbul in 2006 and then held a successful first mission, as well as an ‘add-on’ in Izmir. These were well timed to coincide with the then surge of interest in English language travel from Turkey. During the intervening years many of the QE schools have made regular trips to Istanbul and so now QE and the QE schools are well established in the Turkish market. The purpose of this 2010 mission was to reinforce existing links with agents and to meet agents who have entered the market more recently.

All in all this was a successful mission. It was a pleasure to spend time in this relatively buoyant market where QE is known and agents are eager to learn much more. Our aim to reach both established and newer agents was achieved. We will plan our next visit.

The size of the room was perfect. Relaxed and better interaction rather than run run.

I wanted to thank you profusely for hosting the event. This you did with friendly calmness and efficiency. All of the schools I managed to talk to where exceedingly kind, informative, and in some cases very entertaining.

It was very nice having the opportunity to meet new people. In many cases, these were people we had had email contact with already. Putting a face to a name makes a huge difference in being able to relate to the school represented.

I really can't think of any ways that you could improve on what you did.

QE runs regular missions in cities around the world. The QE school representatives travel to the markets. We invite local agents to take part in a day event where you have the opportunity to speak to the school representatives on a one-to-one basis.
