QE Summer School, Millfield School
The Millfield English Language Holiday Courses offer high quality English tuition combined with sporting or non-sporting options, full social programme and twice weekly excursions.
On one of three beautiful and safe campuses in the rural southwest of the U.K. students aged between 7 and 16 years have a really worthwhile educational experience which is seen by the students themselves as an exciting summer holiday. Many students return to us year after year and some are now coming back as staff!
Location
In rural Somerset in the beautiful southwest of the United Kingdom lie the three campuses of Millfield, Downside and Millfield Prep. Close to Bristol and Bath and two and a half hours from London, we are ideally placed to enjoy the very best of the United Kingdom.
Social Programme
We provide a full social programme to ensure that every student is kept busy with maximum opportunity to make friends with students from around the world and practise their spoken English. There are clubs to join before dinner every day such as the Music club or Photography club, and after dinner typical evening activities include an English Fete, Discos, Quizes, International Nights, Swimming Gala, Talent Shows and much more.

You know, it's kinda strange, when I'm in a cafe it's really hard to keep myself away from making an order on English, though I've returned back home from Mill [Millfield]about 5 weeks ago. Hope to see you all ASAP (next summer XD)

Accommodation is on our own beautiful and safe campuses. Accommodation may be single en-suite, single, double or four bedded rooms for 12-17 year olds in single sex boarding houses and two, three, four or six bedded rooms for 7-11 year olds. Requests to stay with friends will be honoured if possible otherwise different nationalities are accommodated together to encourage conversation in English and to encourage friendships around the world.
