Eastbourne School is a non-profit-making educational charity, established in 1936. The school has an excellent reputation for the quality of teaching and student services.
We are ideally located in the centre of Eastbourne, close to the shops and the elegant seafront. We offer General English and examination courses for adults year round, summer vacation programmes, 50+ courses for mature learners, and a wide range of teacher training courses for British and overseas teachers.
Location
The School is located in the centre of Eastbourne in a quiet tree-lined road, just two minutes from the shops and five minutes from Eastbourne seafront. Eastbourne is a delightful seaside town on the South Coast of England, famous for its Victorian architecture and its beautiful setting between the hills of the South Downs and the sea. There is a large shopping centre, lots of restaurants and bars, two sports centres, three museums, an art gallery, three theatres and numerous parks.
Social Programme
The Social Programme is your opportunity to enjoy yourself in Eastbourne, meet other students and practise your English in a relaxed environment. Our full-time Social Organiser arranges three evening events every week. These include pub, theatre and cinema visits, sports events and our popular International Evenings. We organise weekend excursions to London and other tourist destinations. The Summer Plus course includes one half-day excursion and two afternoon activities per week.

I can't believe time has gone so quickly. I had a wonderful time. I could learn more than just English, meet many efficient teachers and friendly students. I love this place so that's why I have stayed here ten months.
My first experience with the school was in 1985 for a First Certificate course. I'm happy that 15 years later the school is still worth recommending.
It's a small and cosy school. You can get a close contact with the teachers and the other students. One really important thing is that you can choose what you want to learn in the lessons and there's never any problem to get help if you need it.
I was at ESoE for nine months. Everything in the school was of high quality. Teachers and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. They made my life in England easy and enjoyable. I improved my English a lot! I recommend this school to anyone.
It's one of the best schools. I've enjoyed it because it has good teachers and is located in a beautiful town.

System-3 Educational CentreWe offer homestay accommodation in carefully selected host families. Our priority is to place you with friendly hosts who will welcome you into their home and make you part of their family. All our families live within walking distance of the school, maximum 30 minutes, average 15-20 minutes. You will have breakfast and evening meal every day, plus lunch at weekends. We can also arrange guest house accommodation on request.
