Social Programme
Our fun social activity program encourages students to visit places in Halifax and Nova Scotia and to experience some Canadian culture. Students can go to maple sugar farms, theatres, museums, and ice hockey matches. They can learn skating, skiing, and curling and can also take part in movie nights, sporting events and overnight trips to exciting and beautiful destinations such as Cape Breton and Prince Edward Island.

Halifax is a small, vibrant city located on the world’s second biggest natural harbour. Our school is in downtown Halifax – close to shops, restaurants, movie theatres and bars. Our school offers four main programs of study – University Achievement Pathway (UAP), International Business English Certificate and Diploma (IBEC and IBED), English for Communication (EC) and Academic TOEFL (AT). Students who successfully complete our University Achievement Pathway can enter one of our twelve partner universities and colleges without a TOEFL, IELTS or other external exam score. Students who are serious about achieving their learning objectives excel in our small classes supported by dynamic instructors.

Living with a Canadian family is the best way for students to improve their English, learn about our culture and adapt to a new life in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The Homestay Program's objective is to provide students with a warm welcome to Canada and lots of support while they adjust to a new culture. Our homestay families are carefully chosen by our Accommodations Coordinator. Our families live in safe residential neighborhoods within a maximum 50 minute bus ride.
