Worldwide's Job Club Programme supports students looking for work

Worldwide School of English in Auckland has a great support service for their students to help them settle in New Zealand and find work with their Job Club programme.

Students receive information about working in New Zealand and a list of job vacancies. Areas of employment include: Restaurants, Cafes, Hotels, Shops, Supermarkets, Travel/Tour Agencies and tourism operators. They also offer Career Counselling, CV Preparation, Interview Skills Training and Application for a New Zealand Tax (IRD) Number. Students learn about NZ labour laws, what your rights are, rates of pay etc.

Job Club classes are run by experienced Worldwide School of English teachers and is also supported by a large hospitality and events employment agency where most of our students find their part time jobs. This company visits Worldwide School, interviews students and then trains successful students to work for them.

IMPORTANT: Please note the school does not find jobs for the students. This they need to do for themselves. However the "support" given helps them do this with little or no problems.
