CELT International Summer Culture and Language Course

Well, it’s been a very busy few months since CELT closed its doors for face-to-face lessons and we are very proud with everything we have achieved since the last Quality English newsletter. Our fantastic teaching team have all completed further training in teaching online and Neil, our Director of Marketing, has been busy as part of the QE Online standards group making sure that CELT was one of the first QE schools to become part of QE Online. Mike, our Director of Studies, has put together the CELT International Summer Culture and Language Course, an exciting YL programme with culture and social interaction at its heart. We have also launched a new online teacher development course, Achieving Success in the Online Language Classroom, to help newly qualified and more experience teachers gain confidence in all aspects of teaching online, making the most of synchronous and asynchronous approaches. Our expertise in online teaching has meant that CELT has also run webinars for Macmillan and OET (Occupational English Test). We’ve even launched on TikTok thanks to Molly and her amazing digital marketing skills.

We are hoping to be able to re-open for adult courses during the second half of the summer, having made sure that we can provide the safest possible environment for face-to-face classes. What we can promise, for our online and face-to-face students, is that one thing has not changed: our commitment to friendly, professional and helpful service and great teaching. Please stay safe!
