LILA* always aims to be one step ahead and offer courses that will provide students with new skills as well as the confidence to utilise these skills in future study or careers.
Launching in January 2017, the Book-Keeping course will provide students with the opportunity to enhance their career prospects as well as gaining a globally recognised accounting qualification from the International Association of Book-keepers (IAB).
Everyone’s time is valuable so LILA* is aiming to turn students’ free time into skills learning so they can take home tangible skills to add to their CV. The Book-keeping course is suitable for anyone; those wanting to take their first step towards being an accountant, those interested in a career in finance, those looking for a change in career or just wanting to add another string to their bow by developing their skills.
It’s important to stay relevant and offer students beneficial skills that they can take everywhere they go. Book-keeping at LILA* will be open to international and local people interested in studying in their free time alongside work or other studies. For international students, the Book-keeping course can also be combined with the General English courses throughout the week.
The Book-keeping course will run for 10 weeks from 7th January 2017. It will consist of 6 hours of studying every Saturday 9.30am - 12.30pm and 1.00pm - 4.00pm, giving students the chance to learn or develop a new skill beside their everyday life. Students will take the Book-keeping exam upon completing the 10 week course and will leave with an IAB Book-keeping level 2/3 qualification, perfect for upskilling or starting their own ‘work from home’ profession.
