BLS English is located in the beautiful, historic market town of Bury St Edmunds in the county of Suffolk. Situated near Cambridge with easy access to central London, Bury St Edmunds is rich in history, and is listed as one of the most desirable places to stay in the UK.
Our exciting new one-week course ‘Passion for Classic Cars’ starts on the 6th and 20th May, 10th June and 16th September 2019. The Director’s own small collection of cars forms the Passion for Classic Cars course - Morris, Mini, Rover and Rolls Royce. Participants will learn about the history of these iconic British marques, discuss road tests of the cars, materials from the era and enjoy looking back to these days. Participants will get to visit a real garage working on old cars and enjoy drives in the stunning Suffolk countryside in the “fleet” of classic cars. Our chauffeured drives include a tour of historic Bury St Edmunds in a 1952 Morris, a trip out of town for Afternoon Tea at a beautiful Country Hotel, in a 1960’s car, and a trip to Lavenham, one of the most beautiful villages in England, in a 1976 Rolls Royce.
The focus of this course is on fluency, communication and enjoyment and is combined with crystal clear speaking modules. Participants are linked by their common passion for the subject and all course materials are uniquely BLS designed and “topic based”.
Accommodation is available with a local Host who shares your passion, in the iconic Angel Hotel or in an en-suite bedroom in Springfield House – the BLS self-catering town centre Victorian villa.
