London School of English awarded highest possible score in recent British Council accreditation

The London School of English has been awarded the highest possible score in its recent British Council inspection in London, gaining 14/14 'areas of strength'.

Also the highest rated language school in the world on Trustpilot by its clients and the oldest accredited English language school in the world, The London School of English offers courses in Business, general and academic English and ESP in its centres in Holland Park and Chiswick.

CEO Hauke Tallon said of the result “The British Council’s AccreditationUK scheme is known throughout the ELT sector as being an extremely thorough inspection process. There are some very good schools out there, so to have achieved this outcome is particularly pleasing.”

Jo Burns, Director of Sales and Marketing, said “We’re delighted, of course! We care about the details and a well-rounded client experience - we do our best to be flexible to answer the needs of each individual customer in and out of the classroom. It’s in our values to ‘go the extra mile’ so this validates all the effort our team puts in every day.”

The British Council full publishable statement reads: The British Council inspected and accredited The London School of English in June 2019. The Accreditation scheme assesses the standards of management, resources and premises, teaching, welfare, and safeguarding under 18s and accredits organisations which meet the overall standard in each area inspected.

This large private language school offers courses in general, academic and professional English for adults (18+) and for closed groups of adults (18+).

Strengths were noted in the areas of strategic and quality management, staff management, student administration, publicity, premises and facilities, learning resources, academic staff profile, academic management, course design, learner management, teaching, care of students, accommodation, and leisure opportunities.

The inspection report stated that the organisation met the standards of the Scheme.
