Location
The Lake School is situated in the centre of the historical university city of Oxford, 5 minutes' walk from bus & train stations. Oxford colleges, cafes, shops, theatres and pubs are also nearby. The city has a lively student population and a great range of cultural events, entertainment and sporting facilities. Oxford is 70 minutes from Heathrow airport and 90 minutes from central London by express bus. Oxford is convenient for touring the Cotswolds, Stratford, Bath, London and the south coast.
Social Programme
We offer inclusive cultural, social and sporting activities. Every Tuesday afternoon there are optional activities, such as a talk from a guest speaker, or a cultural visit. There are also regular weekly football games. Every Thursday, there is a social activity, such as a pub evening or party. At the weekend, our friendly, experienced social organiser personally arranges and guides optional excursions to places of interest such as London, Brighton, Bath, Warwick & Stratford upon Avon.

British Side English LanguageWe provide comfortable, friendly homestay accommodation in Oxford. Students have a single study bedroom and all meals, except lunch, Monday to Friday. Our homestays are experienced at looking after students of all ages and nationalities and help their guests to feel truly “at home” in Oxford.
